When assessed amongst patients with shoulder disorders, the SANE reports good reliability (ICC = 0.76, SE 3.4) and agreement across a variety of treatment groups (rotator cuff repair, ICC = 0.85, SE 3.4; total shoulder arthroplasty, ICC = 0.72, SE 5.2; physiotherapy, ICC = 0.82, SE 2.9)
