Brief Description

There was an overall agreement of 90% (sensitivity 86%; specificity 91%; κ = 0.75) between the ACR-NB and the 4-hour battery, suggesting an almost perfect association and supporting the construct validity of ACR-NB as a measure of CI. In the NPSLE group, the agreement between the ACR-NB and 4-hour battery was 81% (sensitivity 80%; specificity 81%; κ = 0.61), with 15 patients classified as impaired on the 4-hour battery and 15 classified as impaired on the ACR-NB. In the non-NPSLE group, the agreement between the ACR-NB and 4-hour battery was 95% (sensitivity 100%; specificity 94%; κ = 0.86), with four patients classified as impaired on the 4-hour battery and five classified as impaired on the ACR-NB. In the control group, the agreement was 96% (sensitivity 100%; specificity 96%; κ = 0.78), with two patients classified as impaired on the 4-hour battery and three classified as impaired on the ACR-NB

Sensitivity & Specificity (Describe)

The ACR Ad Hoc Committee on Lupus Response Criteria Cognition Subcommittee stated that a clinically important response is characterized as an improvement of 1.0 SD or more with an effect size of 1 or more in either direction in a key domain (attention, memory, or psychomotor speed) or as restoration of normal performance in the battery
