| Brief Description |
The HDISS-DU scale is DU questionnaire adapted from the 18-item Cochin Hand Functional Scale (CHFS) that measures the patient-reported functional limitations relating to SSc-DUs. Patients are asked to rate their ability to do various tasks over the last 7-day period. |

There are eight response options for each item. Two options share the same score of 5. An option of “did not do this activity in the past 7 days” is scored as missing. The overall HDISS-DU score is calculated as the mean of non-missing item scores (with a missing data threshold of < 12 items). |
