| Brief Description |
The MDA criteria were developed consistent with OMERACT recommendations. In contrast to continuous measures, the MDA serves as an indicator of the current state of PsA disease. Seven criteria are assesed: tender joint count; swollen joint count; PASI or body surface area (BSA); patient pain Visual Analogue Scale (VAS); PtGA; Health Assessment Questionnaire (HAQ) and tender entheseal points. The MDA is gaining use as a meaningful composite index to monitor disease activity across all PsA clinical pathologies. |
