DESCRIPTION OF THE INSTRUMENT

Brief Description

The BmPROM is an 8 item questionnaire designed to include the major areas of importance to people with MSK problems including quality of life, activities of daily living, leisure or social activities, pain, medication, sleep, anxiety, and depression levels.

Recommendations to score

The BmPROM measures musculoskeletal health related quality of life using eight questions. The eight questions represent two health subscales: Functionality and Wellbeing. To score it, the questions regarding each subscale need to be added; then the total score is divided by the number of question (see appendix in the questionnaire)
