Self-administered questionnaire including 38 symptoms. First the patient is asked whether or not a symptom has occurred in the past month. Second, if the symptom has occurred, the patient is asked to rate the perceived burden of that symptom on a four-point Likert scale. |

It can be calculated the number or symptom from 0 to 30. In addition, the subjective burden can be calculation by summation of the perceived burden of all items endorsed (score 0-152). The SSC has been designed as a uni-dimensional scale, so no sub dimensions were expected, rather than the conceptually included dimensions “disease-related” symptoms and “therapy-related” symptoms. |
